recently upgrade to Win 11 and it generally seems ok.

1 issue though is that the action buttons on epson scan no longer show (preview, scan etc)

if you click on the area they should be they still work and then appear- which is great if you know where all the buttons are!

it worked perfectly fine the 10 min before i did the upgrade then had this issue immediately after.

so far only found the issue on this one app

any thoughts on resolution.

Dear All,

if you open Epson Scan, please press only "alt".

I found out the answer, on the space below the edge fit (lower portion of the app interface). Where the preview and scan button were suppose to be, just hover the mouse cursor over it, then click the right button.. and there appears those missing preview and scan button.

Try it and let me know if it worked for you. It did for me….

Use this approach, which is a fixed version of epson scan.

It permanently displays "scan" and "preview" buttons.

    • Visit: https://epson.com/Support/Printers/sh/s1 - Enter product name. In my case WF-2760
    • Check that operating system is correct - I had to change to Windows 11 (Go)
    • Went to Utilities - Selected Epson Scan Common Updater V1.0.0 + 11/15/21 | 10.5 MB | ESCU_W11.exe
    • DOWNLOAD and install
    • issue is gone

    good luck

    I am sorry.

After a clean reinstallation of Windows11, the icons appeared after Alt was pressed.

Approx. 1 month after that, the icons stopped appearing again.

Reinstalling the driver did not help.

Reinstalling the latest version (the instructions here) does not help either.

    I'm used to it, I don't mind.

Why should we get "used to it"?! This is an unacceptable flaw in an app that previously worked with our windows-based computers. Microsoft needs to step up and fix their flaw. They also need to quit using us as beta testers for their upgrades, and fully test their product before releasing it!
