app buttons missing in windows 11 - epson scan

recently upgrade to Win 11 and it generally seems ok.

1 issue though is that the action buttons on epson scan no longer show (preview, scan etc)

if you click on the area they should be they still work and then appear- which is great if you know where all the buttons are!

it worked perfectly fine the 10 min before i did the upgrade then had this issue immediately after.

so far only found the issue on this one app

any thoughts on resolution.

    I have an Epson Perfection 4490 Photo. You think after 2 years they would fix the problem. I went through all 13 pages of responses. I did the downloads from the various sites with no luck. I got the two buttons to appear with the ALT key but I have problems seeing the buttons in the Preview page in the Marquee Area (upper left). They are missing. I just purchased a Windows 11 computer in December 2023and you think things would work better.....NOT... Very disappointed with Epson. I would avoid buying any future Epson products and I will let my friends know my frustrations.

    Thank you! Too bad there doesn't seem to be a way to mark this as the real answer. And that the Epson site doesn't suggest this patch when you go to their download site.
