This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
recently upgrade to Win 11 and it generally seems ok.
1 issue though is that the action buttons on epson scan no longer show (preview, scan etc)
if you click on the area they should be they still work and then appear- which is great if you know where all the buttons are!
it worked perfectly fine the 10 min before i did the upgrade then had this issue immediately after.
so far only found the issue on this one app
any thoughts on resolution.

I had this problem with the driver for the Epson Perfection V550 scanner on upgrade to Windows 11. The Epson UK support site says that the issue is fixed in versions of Epson Scan released after 15 October 2021
Windows 11: Epson Scan missing buttons - Epson
The latest version for my scanner according to the Epson UK website is version 3.9.23 still dated 11 July 2018.
The bug notice linked by Andreas_186 led me to look around a bit on the Epson Japan website. Although it does not recognise the V550 I found a patch program at
EPSON Scan Display Patch | Driver Software Download | Support & Download | Epson
The program is EPSONScan_W11P_20211102_S.exe
I downloaded and ran this and despite an error message the buttons reappeared.

Greetings
That worked perfect in windows 11 with my Epson Perfection 4180 Photo flatbed scanner... where I loaded drives I had from older version of Windows I I migrated to Windows 10 on my now-offline pc
Just hold down the "alt" key AFTER opening Epson Scan icon from desktop
I have exactly the same issue since upgrading to Windows 11. Uninstalled all Epson software and reinstalled as per their support advice but that did not resolve this. Adjusting system colors had no impact at all. Have not seen this problem with any of my other apps.
Hi Phil,
I am Dave, I will help you with this.
There may be an incompatibility with that software and Windows 11, though I have not see that reported anywhere.
The best first option is to uninstall that software, then go to the support page for your Printer/Scanner on the Epson website, to download and re-install the device drivers and Epson Scan software they recommend.
