My battery says it is charged but if I unplug the power cable the computer dies. Happened after I did windows 11 upgrade. I have updated all drivers and systems and even put a new battery in. How do I correct this?

I updated to Windows 11. BIG MISTAKE! Now, My laptop battery is dead and won't charge. I see lots of people had problems with the battery not charging, but my battery is dead and so none of those work for me. Will MS pay for a new battery for me since they broke my laptop? Let ne jbiw uf tgere;s aything else I can do short of spending money I don't have on a new battery.
Reading all the comments from people who had this problem, Microsoft knew this was a problem and should have fixed it before releasing it to the public.

I bought a new battery and it still can't recognize it. Basically there is a serious problem with the Microsoft AC Adapter or Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery Drivers. Simply uninstalling and reinstalling the faulty drivers is not going to help. The code needs to be fixed. How can software create hardware issues? This is definitely to do something with the code.
I'm dealing with same issue since around Feb/March. Right after the Windows 11 update battery stopped working. Battery report shows up to the exact day of update it was working fine. Windows update broke the charging piece and ASUS makes sure it remains broke.
Only two things, and both are mutually exclusive.
To fix the battery issue, BIOS need to be updated from v305 to v306.
To update BIOS, battery needs to be at minimum 20%. Direct Power supply won't be enough. The keyword 'risky' used to bypass this in EZ Flash v2 it seems. But it doesn't work on EZ Flash v3. When I ask about any way to bypass in v3, ASUS support keeps silent.
Can somebody please provide a working solution? I can't use the device with fear of power going off anytime. There is no ASUS service location also nearby. They broke it just using software, so I expect a software based solution.
power adaptor stopped working after windows 11 update. now relaying on 30w usb charging.
please help.
