Windows 11/Battery dead and not charging

I updated to Windows 11. BIG MISTAKE! Now, My laptop battery is dead and won't charge. I see lots of people had problems with the battery not charging, but my battery is dead and so none of those work for me. Will MS pay for a new battery for me since they broke my laptop? Let ne jbiw uf tgere;s aything else I can do short of spending money I don't have on a new battery.

Reading all the comments from people who had this problem, Microsoft knew this was a problem and should have fixed it before releasing it to the public.

    I am sorry that caused you trouble.

    it is recommended that you go to the battery report and send it to us to help you confirm:

    Get the battery report path:

    1. Right-click on the "Start" menu, select "Command Prompt (Administrator) (A)";
    2. Type: powercfg/batteryreport, and then press Enter (note the space after fg), automatically jumps out of the memory path of the battery report;
    3. Locate the battery report in the appropriate path and open it.
