Windows 11/Battery dead and not charging

why my laptop is showing that if i keep to normal switch board also it is showing ac adaptor why it is happening and it is being in 0 % charging only this is after my anti virus expiry and on february 1 my anti virus was expired and on february 8th i done an update in evening when i opened my laptop it was showing me 3% i charged my laptop there was a light after charging point in it was not glowing and charging became 1% it is showing ac adapter but before that also i will keep to that switch borad only what is the solution for this pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee give me any response 😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌

I have the same problem since I upgraded to Win11. I just finally upated about two days ago after weeks of saying no to the dialog box! I have a Asus Rog Strix 2 gaming and I am afraid of my computer going dead. I've heard of this issue before when the battery won't charge and the system board fails because of burn out. I can't even adjust the power setting as I used to do in windows10. This sucks!

I ended up having to buy a new laptop.

I was referred to the maker (Acer) who does not yet have a driver for my old laptop for Win11. They could not repair the machine. They had me take it to a local shop. He told me that by the time they did the work on restoring the system I would have spent the same amount as to buy a new laptop. So, that's what I did. This was a terrible unplanned expense.

If you're having trouble, I would recommend taking your laptop to a shop and seeing if they can either update your driver (if your computer has an appropriate driver for 11) or reinstall 10.

I have exactly the same problem with a Microsoft surface laptop. Never had a problem until I installed windows 11, it then stopped recognizing the charger and won't charge at all via the charger or usb-c. Won't revert back to Windows 10 because it says it's not plugged in even though it is. Tried the battery driver uninstall, tried restarts, nothing works. Killed a perfectly good laptop by updating to Windows 11.

I have exactly the same problem with my DELL laptop. I won't charge after the Wondiws 11 upgrade. The only way the solve it, is to shut down my laptop by holding the power button for at least 10 seconds. And then after powering up again, it starts charging again (sometimes I can a blue screen first, and then I have to repeat everything again).
