I updated to Windows 11. BIG MISTAKE! Now, My laptop battery is dead and won't charge. I see lots of people had problems with the battery not charging, but my battery is dead and so none of those work for me. Will MS pay for a new battery for me since they broke my laptop? Let ne jbiw uf tgere;s aything else I can do short of spending money I don't have on a new battery.

Reading all the comments from people who had this problem, Microsoft knew this was a problem and should have fixed it before releasing it to the public.

Tell me about it right. Microsoft appear to have gone into silent mode. It's time one of their Tech Support Team step up and at least tell us they acknowledge the issue and are working the problem.

I also facing the same issue. I'm using Dell Inspiron 15 3000 and the battery also not charging. Now the battery is stuck at 56% and not going over 56 even though I plugged in the source power. Please release a fix on this ASAP. This was happening once I received a new update for my laptop on last 2 weeks ago.

I have the same issue, I even purchased a new battery which ended up being a dud, other story. Look I've an Asus ROG Strix laptop. I put the old battery in again. It won't charge past 59% in Windows 11. So if I want to charge it fully I need to do a cold boot entering the BIOS and it will charge to 100%. So for me this appears to be an O/S issue and a serious one.

    ALSO

I turned all the lights off in Armoury Crate app, I set the battery to balanced mode and the batter save on to 50%. I wasted like £54.15 on a new dud battery, still working on a refund. But this is clearly an O/S issue. I am also an I.T professional so I can see the battery will charge before the O/S is bootstrapped within the BIOS.

CAN SOMEONE AT MICROSOFT PLEASE LOOK AT THIS I UPDATED ALL THE DRIVERS AND EVERYTHING

I actually want to downsize to Windows 10 but I'm past that time period now for roll back.

Please help us Microsoft this is a very serious issue. And yes I almost forgot. Sometimes when I plug in the a/c power cord it dosent register this in the O/S. Look at this we are jumping through all the correct hoops. PLEASE.
