Slide Show in Windows 11

Are you referring to Background Slideshow?

Initially I recommend that you try the following;

Access the Control Panel;

Click System and Security;

Click on Power Options;

Click Change plan settings (On the right side of your chosen power plan);

Click Change Advanced Power Settings;

Click (+) Desktop Background Settings to expand the session;

Click (+) Slideshow and change the option to Available;

Click Apply;

Now press Windows key + I and go to Personalization;

Click on background and set up Slideshow again;

After configuring, restart the PC and check if the slideshow works normally again;

Is there a way to get the windows slides show back in W11? I used it all the time and its gone. I don't mean the lock screen one, that's no good. I have left it too late to revert to W10 regretfully

Thanks Luiz, but no, I'm referring to the slideshow that was in the file explorer. I know the background slideshow and that doesn't do what I need. In explorer, there was a button called picture tools and you could run a slideshow from multiple folders, and set the speed. I can't see that now. I know I'm not the only user. I just wish I could revert to Windows 10 without re-installing.

It's not the one in the photo app either. That is also nowhere near as good, Can't set speed and no shuffle option.

I don't really see this feature present in Windows 11;

You can revert to Windows 10 but you will only have 10 days to do so, if you exceed 10 days you cannot revert to Windows 10, just reinstalling Windows again;
