Is there a way to get the windows slides show back in W11? I used it all the time and its gone. I don't mean the lock screen one, that's no good. I have left it too late to revert to W10 regretfully

2022-11-12T10:46:58+00:00 That zip file did not work. The slideshow option that was there up until a day ago is still not there now. Why can't there be a patch to undo whatever Microsoft did when they changed whatever? By the way, I'm using a Surface Pro - maybe that's the disconnect. And also, that slideshow option in the background isn't really a slideshow - it's another version of a screensaver.

2022-11-11T23:33:05+00:00 I have the same problem. Why did they get rid of this feature thru the Windows Explorer? The slideshow background (screen saver) is not the same thing and is virtually useless. You can't control the speed, and the fastest it goes is 1 picture per minute. Useless.

2022-11-08T20:40:04+00:00 I really appreciate your help. I edited my reply above to say that an update was required. I'm afraid I forget that these darned apps need to be entered and updated separately from 'All Apps'.
I now have the ability to see a slideshow, but not to do what I need to do. I want to view my highly organised folders exactly as they are ... not by the latest or oldest dates. I want to choose a range of photos and compare them. I cannot do that. I probably have over 1 TB of photos on my computer alone.
Whenever I leave a folder, I have to start to find it again from scratch. I just do not understand why the format was changed. It was simple and it worked.
