Stop upgrade to Windows 11

Hi Emily I love your message!!! I too hate MS' aggressiion and intrusion in so many other ways too! If you are good at computers I'm sure you'll find a replacement like Linux or another one.

I'm stuck as I'm not good at computers so after fighthing (against AI, a machine!) I had to give it up and slowly learn all the changes, and meses, W11 made on my computer. Now it's trying to get me into some kind fo a Vault (ewhatever it is) so as usual I refused but it keep coming back. Grrrrrr to them!!! However, getting furious does nothing except aggravate my heart condition.

Being that I'm forced to resign to using that W11, I'll have to learn how to stop receiving these messages here.

I do hope you find the right replacement so you can work on the computer with some measure of pleasure rather than a constant aggravation. Happy Sunday! :)

you don't have to use windows11, I am on 10, I went back to 10 as 11 is just to much of a nasty experiment.

Oh thank you, and I'm glad for you to have gone back to W10, but I don't know how to go back to W10. I tried at the beginning and not working for me I just quit. Can you have installed 2 Windows at the same time and use only the W10? How to, at least, hide the W11? Although now it's too late for me since somehow it made disappear (or delete) the content of several of my MS Outlook system folders and subfolders, plus it changed other things, etc.

It seems too many people don't like it that's probably why they are pushinng so hard to get people to install it and then get their complaints in the form of feedbacks for their technicians to know what things to change. Am I right?

It happened the same to me with W10 when I was on W7. The W10 then was a Beta so they were learning from our complaints and at that time it was much worse as among many other glitches they also would have days with nothing appearing on the screen, and without being able to contact them, etc. Too much aggravation, as also now. Oh well...

my employers idiot it company just let 11 roll onto most computers, well but mine that with out the encryption doodad is happily incompatible.

To go back you need to do a fresh install. download the make install media thin and set up a usb stick as the destination. reboot from the stick. you will have to format the whole drive so save everything. I always keep any data OFF the windows drive so that I can nuke it on a whim.

Microsoft will to force users to take microsoft way, thier own way! I see it made for idiots, have no other way.

For example, they renew Office programs and force you to buy the new additions each time by deactivating the old versions ! Companies have no choice and have to buy the new addition! For example the Exel-Tables or Acces would not working anymore.

I have solved the problem with Office Word! There is a new program which does what ever Word do with no limitation named „Liberoffice“. You can search in internet and download and install it!

Actually, I am writing with it now.
