Microsoft are a bunch of ****. I like my task bar on the side of my screen, now I can only have it at the bottom, and yea, what is that junk about having it in the middle so that basically buttons/icons just keep moving based on how many things are open? Then there is this thing where you have any 2 or more related windows with their buttons on top of each other, I would like to do bodily harm to the jerk that came up with this. IT SLOWS DOWN MY USE OF MY COMPUTER, I AM LESS PRODUCTIVE!!!!!! So back to 10, now I can have my taskbar to the right and see everything that is open and go to it in 1 click not a mouse over, 20 seconds trying to guess which preview is the right one (seriously, try it with explorer!!!) and then click. which ever jerk came up with this had so much time on their hands clearly that they should be fired as they have nothing to do! I don't have such time to waste over microsofts naval gazing!
Stop upgrade to Windows 11
I upgraded to Windows 11 and reverted back to Windows 10. Now Windows 10 automatically attempts to download and install Windows 11 again. See below:
I can Pause Updates but doing so doesn't allow me to update Windows 10 "patches." I'm being forced to Upgrade to Windows 11 without the ability to stop it.
I want to cancel the Upgrade to Windows 11 (download/installation) process which initiated on its own without my consent. The current status is how it shows in the image above - ready to download and then install Windows 11 but there is no way to stop it.
What I want:
- Windows 10 to stop Upgrade to Windows 11 process
- Ability to update Windows 10 without it upgrading/installing to Windows 11
- Windows 10 with the ability to update patches

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

; How to Block Windows 11 From Installing
; https://www.majorgeeks.com/content/page/block_windows_11.html
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate]
"ProductVersion"="Windows 10"
"TargetReleaseVersion"=dword:00000001
"TargetReleaseVersionInfo"="22H2"
Put that in a text file and save it as a .reg and run, you can change the 22H2 to your current version and 11 can go screw it's own ****!

2022-11-25T21:24:58+00:00 I don't think I'd want to block "all" updates, you never know when somebody's going to launch a Zero Day exploit, and yes I have Malwarebytes for those things but I'd still rather have the code fixed instead of having to block it all the time.
I can't stand the Windows 11nag on the update page, it's part of MS's never ending psychological warfare on their customers. -
