I have been using Windows since January 2021, but for last 1-2 months, I am facing a strange issue. Whenever I work on my laptop my mouse goes busy on a specific area on the screen. I am not able to figure out how to fix this. I resetted my pc, reinstalled mouse drivers but still I am facing this issue. But when I restart my laptop it gets fix but after some time it again happens. Could anyone help me to figure out way through this problem? I am on Windows 11 build 22000.348. I am in Windows Insider Beta Programme. Please

Does any one have any idea how to fix or will it be fixed in next patch ? Does company know about this issue ? Usually issues with new patches or minor or even major changes won't bother me or i barely even notice them. But this is the first issue thats been really blocking my work or anything i do on system. I bet this is been happening to lot more people cuz people like me don't come on here forums like this and post stuff. I'm an indicator that this issue is wide spread.
Same problem here on Windows 11 Version 21H2 - Build 22000.469
As others have mentioned, it's as if there is an invisible window hovering close to the Start Menu button on the Task Bar. I can trace my mouse around the edge of this active area and the mouse cursor will stay busy the whole time. This has a negative impact on accessing the start menu, particularly the lower half of the menu. Likewise accessing links in some web pages is not possible as this invisible active area stays on top of all other windows.

Thanks Mario had the same issue and this helped, wait for the patch too.
PS In some apps I can see the rectangle on teh screen where this happens as if it is a hidden or transparent window of some unknown app that overlays all others
I have exactly the same problem -- after Windows 11 upgrade the cursor goes spinning in a specific square shaped portion of the screen, regardless of the application running. If I click in that area in an app it will switch to the desktop. But the desktop has the same "busy" signal on the mouse in that same area, and then nothing happens when I click there. This is definitely a Windows 11 bug and quite a bizarre one. Please could Microsoft help? This is an extremely bad bug that ruins some applications. Thank you!
