High ram usage while idle on a windows 11 pc

Just like the title goes, my laptop gets about 50~60 ram usage while idle, even though it has 16 gigs of ram. Tried checking with the task manager doesn't seem to spot anything going on. Also, I've tried fixing the registry, disabling startup applications, defragmenting drives, turning off Sysmain, as said on the Internet, but they all didn't change anything. Is there any way to fix this while not clean installing windows again?

    1st of all i don't recommend turning off security features. 2nd: my problem was related to memory leaks not high usage by some process and seems like many of users here had same problems. I've moved to linux and only playing from time to time on windows. Totally disapointed of it. Give us more ads in system settings and keep requirements for OS higher and higher from version to version but make your product worse and more unstable. After 5 BSODs "out of memory" (99%usage of 32GB RAM on a idle desktop) i've gave up. Idk what is causing that. Windows performance tools also shows around 6-8GB AT MOST on idle assigned to processes running when BSOD happens. I have some idea that it can be related to core isolation but not 100% sure. Don't have time and nerves for that mess. I'm out of that thread. Good luck all of you.

    Thanks for your reply :) I think that's not a better idea but i have tried it too. Still my RAM usage is high on idle. Even i dont have apps other than MS Store.

    Thanks for your reply :) So scary after seeing your reply. But how could this happen without our knowledge despite everything in our control. I have killed all starting apps and all. Still it's eating my memory. Win 11 patch build was not that much good to handle this at all. Reg. core isolation my PC has 10 cores and i've no issues in that. Anyway your reply was helpful and i hope i'll sort this out soon.

    Sorry that it didn't work for you. Replacing Windows Defender with Bitdefender solved all my performance and lagging issues, especially when running Photoshop and my Digital Audio Workstation. Good luck!

    I have 8 GB ram installed but in idle case also 80% ram is used.
