Thanks for your reply :) I think that's not a better idea but i have tried it too. Still my RAM usage is high on idle. Even i dont have apps other than MS Store.

Just like the title goes, my laptop gets about 50~60 ram usage while idle, even though it has 16 gigs of ram. Tried checking with the task manager doesn't seem to spot anything going on. Also, I've tried fixing the registry, disabling startup applications, defragmenting drives, turning off Sysmain, as said on the Internet, but they all didn't change anything. Is there any way to fix this while not clean installing windows again?

2023-06-29T23:02:33+00:00 1st of all i don't recommend turning off security features. 2nd: my problem was related to memory leaks not high usage by some process and seems like many of users here had same problems. I've moved to linux and only playing from time to time on windows. Totally disapointed of it. Give us more ads in system settings and keep requirements for OS higher and higher from version to version but make your product worse and more unstable. After 5 BSODs "out of memory" (99%usage of 32GB RAM on a idle desktop) i've gave up. Idk what is causing that. Windows performance tools also shows around 6-8GB AT MOST on idle assigned to processes running when BSOD happens. I have some idea that it can be related to core isolation but not 100% sure. Don't have time and nerves for that mess. I'm out of that thread. Good luck all of you.

2023-06-29T21:36:05+00:00 The solution for my problem was to turn off Microsoft defender (MicrosoftSecurityApp.exe) and installed Bitdefender. Problem solved! You can shut off MicrosoftSecurityApp.exe in Task Manager. Hope this helps!

2023-06-28T06:44:36+00:00 Facing same issue. My PC using more than 50% memory on idle state and i cant figure out where my memory leakage happening. I calculated all the ruuning apps memory usage but its not exceeding 3GB of memory. I got RAM of 16 GB. Kindly help with this.
