***^UPDATED 01/11/22^*REMINDERWindows 10, version 2004 reached end of servicing on December 14, 2021. To continue receiving security and quality updates, Microsoft recommends that you update to the latest version of Windows 10.

To update to one of the newer versions of Windows 10, we recommend that you use the appropriate Enablement Package KB (EKB). Using the EKB makes updating faster and easier and requires a single restart. To find the EKB for a specific OS, go to theImprovements and fixessection and click or tap the OS name to expand the collapsible section.

  • Updates a known issue that affects Japanese Input Method Editors (IME). Text you enter might appear out of order or the text cursor might move unexpectedly in apps that use the multibyte character set (MBCS).
  • Updates security for your Windows operating system.

Download the updates from the Microsoft Update Catalog.

After rebooting my computer got the new patch and lost the ability to use the Meraki client VPN, may end users complaining about this issue.

contacted Meraki and was that they can't do nothing about it since the issue is with the Microsoft 10 client, removing the patches didn't fix the issue.

We have thousands of users that depend on this client vpn connection and they'll be without connection when this patch is applied, maybe like me after a reboot. need help with this

This is the post reporting the issue, not fix for us yet, need assistance:

KB009543 appears to have broken storage spaces - configured as redundant drive after the update the drive appears to the OS as raw unformatted. Uninstalling the update restored the drive. This is disappointing as I had the drive configured as redundant/two-way mirror because it holds critical data.

    Hello Team

After I installed the following update

2022-01 Cumulative Update for windows 10 Version 21H2 For C64 based System

    KB5009543

My mobile VPN IKev2 stop working with the following error "General processing error"

    From the Event Viewer

"CoId={E015629F-0797-0001-B6F6-15E09707D801}: The user SYSTEM dialed a connection named WG IKEv2VPN which has failed. The error code returned on failure is 13804.:

After uninstalling the update I was able to connect with no issues.

Thanks for the report. It is now in the Media too:

New Windows KB5009543, KB5009566 updates break L2TP VPN connections (bleepingcomputer.com)

Consider pausing the updates in the meantime.
