***^UPDATED 01/11/22^*REMINDERWindows 10, version 2004 reached end of servicing on December 14, 2021. To continue receiving security and quality updates, Microsoft recommends that you update to the latest version of Windows 10.

To update to one of the newer versions of Windows 10, we recommend that you use the appropriate Enablement Package KB (EKB). Using the EKB makes updating faster and easier and requires a single restart. To find the EKB for a specific OS, go to theImprovements and fixessection and click or tap the OS name to expand the collapsible section.

  • Updates security for your Windows operating system.

Download the updates from the Microsoft Update Catalog.

    Microsoft Team,

After I installed the update to Windows 11, I noticed that it had deleted my Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Later when I uninstalled Windows 11 and went back to 10, My Word, Excel, and PowerPoint returned.

Do you know why the update happened to remove my apps?

Thank you for your message, I will definitely not be upgrading to Win 11 until MS fixes it.

I would suggest you roll it back to 10, nothing worse than having a new laptop and experiencing problems.

    Regards,

    Klaudia

Early Download WIN 11 Serious Issues with WIN FILE EXPLORER

Just bought a premium machine from Asus, almost the top product on the market RN. After updating to WIN11 I face a significant slow down of the PC. Many commonly used apps such Office, or Browsers have issues. Mouse cursor often freeze on the screen.

Even if the Jan Update helped, there s a serious issue in file browsing. Looking at the task manager it seems there s some problem with WIN FILE EXPLORER "overunning". Evensuch a machine struggle browsing, while I noticed rebooting WIN FILE EXPLORER there a temporary improvement.

In this conditions the OS is not yet usable. How long for a definitive fixing of the EXPLORER functionality? Should I downgrade?

    TY BR
