So what you are saying is that your Laptop does not really support Windows 11. Is that correct?

The rollback to W 10 was fast & everything is back to normal. .My laptop is 6 months old and had never had an issue. This post was interesting but my machine does not support the higher rate. https://winaero.com/enable-dynamic-refresh-rate-in-windows-11-drr/

    Hello Eirenne,

I had the issue of shaky text when I was in Outlook (the regular licensed version). I followed the instructions to change the hardware acceleration in Outlook and that fixed all those problems across the board. Did you roll back to Windows 10 with no issues? How old is your computer?

I also thought my W 11 upgrade had gone flawlessly on my 6 month old Acer and was adjusting to the changes without much of a problem. Then 3 days in, I noticed the blurriness on text when hovering over it. Then I started getting black screens for a couple of seconds when switching tabs on both Chrome & Edge browsers. Thought it would be easier to do the rollback to W 10 rather than experimenting with Hardware acceleration and other tips out there. So I am also on the 35 day update pause. Watching a couple of other forums working on this

    Hi Susan,

Windows 11 just downloaded itself last week without me doing anything. This also happened to another friend of mine. In fact, it downloaded during the evening and when she turned on her computer, there is was. It is documented that this has happened.

I did not prompt it. I saw it was downloading but could not stop it. Now it is there, but not installed thus the 'pausing' episode right now.

I'm not much of a fan of deleting files and folders off of my computer when it comes to areas of knowledge I simply don't have. I have a fairly new Dell laptop and am scared to death of messing it up. Ultimately I will run Windows 11 so that is something I keep in mind when trying to alter the current situation right now. Meaning, when I let Windows 11 install fully, I want the 'platform' to be correct so that I don't have installation issues.
