I only used W 11 for 3 days but don't think I printed anything before rolling back. So many forums are reporting printing issues after updates & especially when rolling back from W11. I will copy you and leave everything until I do switch to 11. Meanwhile Tax season is coming but I can print from the phone.

2022-01-09T14:27:55+00:00 Hello Eirenne,
It is the one update in Windows 10 that is causing your printing issues. I still have the same issue as I'm still on Windows 10. It is the update that took place on Sept. 14th KB5005565. I'll bet if you go into your update history, you'll see it.
Now, what happens is that this update prevents any remote devices like other laptops to print from your 'Host computer'. For example, my main laptop is hooked to my Dell computer via a USB cable. All of my other laptops can 'see' the main printer but when you try to print, it is unresponsive with an error message. Everything was printing smoothly until that one update. Hundreds of people including businesses all experienced this.
The only way to fix it is to uninstall the one update. I've not done it as I was reading where other folks did that and also had to uninstall any other updates that took place after the one on Sept. 15th. I have just left it as is right now as I'm hoping when I upgrade to Windows 11 all of those printer nightmare issues go away.
When you were briefly on Windows 11, could you print from all of your devices properly?

2022-01-09T02:01:36+00:00 While my rollback to W10 went smoothly (other than stopping the auto Updates to W11) I now cannot print from my nearly new laptop & 1 year old wireless printer. My phones, tablet & another W 10 laptop have no issues with the printer . Has anyone tested printing after their rollback? Spent hours uninstalling/reinstalling & other suggestions from HP. Found this site complaining about the same thing but no answer.

2021-12-31T00:55:02+00:00 We shall keep moving forward one step at a time then.
Hang in there and we might be wasting there time, but not our time. Other people learn from our
experiences also.

2021-12-30T23:43:16+00:00 I have a 3 year old PC with Windows 10 installed.
If there is a way to keep in touch then I expect one of the 900+ people who have viewed the original post will tell us so we stop wasting their time !!
I think my age is the reason for my stubbornness and persistence in trying to resolve my own problems. Also I have plenty of time.
Cheers to you, Susan
