2022-06-10T22:57:49+00:00 Now I understand and remember your chain of events. I'm just so happy you and I are free, free, free of Windows 11.....at least for a couple of years.
I still read about all the bugs in Windows 11 and just shudder at the thought of it.

2022-06-10T20:58:29+00:00 This option was there back in February, when in my ignorance I said ok to 11 when my other option was to decline and stay with Windows 10. Fortunately, my computer was bloated with files that didn't leave enough memory for the install to go through and in the meantime I discovered how much I did NOT want 11. But there was no way to get back to this choice until I changed the registry for 21H2 and then actually got the 21H2 update a week or so later. Now that cheerful reminder that my device can handle Windows 11 goes ignored!

2022-06-09T18:09:31+00:00 I'm going to have to have an out of body experience to do that one. I had changed the target version in the registry so I don't think I'll have to check that out, but maybe I will out of curiosity.
Of course curiosity killed the cat. 🤣

2022-06-09T17:25:04+00:00 Hello Susan,
Where did you see the option for not choosing Windows 11 at all?
Hi PortlandMT, in the update settings. now there's a notification that
"This PC can run Windows 11 Great news—your PC meets the minimum system requirements for Windows 11. Specific timing for when it will be offered can vary as we get it ready for you"
"See if it's ready to install"
I clicked on that and a pop-up has.............
"Windows 11 is ready - and it's free!
Get the latest version of Windows, with the new look, new features, and enhanced security"
download and install
Stay on Windows 10 for now."
I chose stay on Windows 10 of course.
