Thank you that's a great help. I will set reminder for January 22nd.

If during this time there are Windows 10 updates waiting, will I be able to tell which they are and choose them?

HI PortlandMT, This is interesting and at the same time I found what appears to be almost the same information on the Microsoft site.

MY question to you is, did you actually allow Windows 11 to download and then do this or did you do this from Windows 10?

In the video I followed and found the Downloads file as directed.

He selected and deleted all "the unimportant" files leaving only the cache.

I"m not a tech, but I can usually follow clear instructions HAHA but I wasn't sure how I know how unimportant these files are and have not felt quite ready to delete them.

So for now I will try and work my way through this version. It does remind me to back up the registry before I mess with it! https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/program-is-not-listed-in-add-remove-programs-after-installation-0866db2a-f8d9-fb0f-16d2-850f5072e536.

I will watch for your further thoughts, thank you, Susan

I would have to do an upgrade to Windows 21H2. I currently have Edition Windows 10 Home

Version   20H2. Then after that, I could go into the registry and do what you did. I find this to be an awful situation.

I'll let you know what I decide.
