Windows update: something didn't go as planned every time i try to install an update

I my case Windows 11 Update was claiming 23H2 was not installed when it was. Clearing the SoftwareDistribution cleared that mistake up.

Some entries on the web for this issue mention that if you have Malwarebytes installed, it can interfer with (some) Windows Updates. The recommendation I read was to uninstall Malwarebytes, and once you're past the "Something didn't go as planned" problem, you can install Malwarebytes again. I found that I didn't need to uninstall Malwarebytes - I just needed to temporarily turn off the Web, Malware, Ransomware and Exploit protection of the product, then restore the protection after the Windows Update successfully completed.

I had the same story with "something didn't go as planned" but in my situation I have no idea how to fix it.

The issue started after my partition manipulation when I was recovered them after failed with dead SSD. My partition sectors was on that passed away disk while the system on brand new m2. So I shrink the partition, created new bcd template store, flighted with BFSVC Error and so on. Long story short my current partition on my disk looks like that:

Partition ### Type Size Offset

Partition 1 Reserved 16 MB 1024 KB

Partition 2 Primary 1862 GB 17 MB

Partition 3 Primary 259 MB 1862 GB

Partition 4 Recovery 609 MB 1862 GB

And I do not know which one I have to modify and do not break my working w11 system and able to download these unstoppable updates. I disable updates on services.msc but still windows update ask to install

2023-10 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5031323)

and see no way how to install them without the loop and failed 97% downloads.

I agree to live with risk and without updates but it is annoying that I cannot restart the computer without numerous and useless restart with attempts to install them. I guess it is enough space on needed partition or it is wrongly named or I have to set the ID for it.

Why do we have to go through all this BS to do a simple MS update? This seems to me that there is something broken! MS needs to resolve it!
