unplugging accessories was one of the first things I tried
Windows 11 Screensaver / Display Sleep functions not working
A few weeks ago, I can't remember exactly when it occurred (May have been after installing W11) my screensaver and display sleep functions just completely stopped working. I have tried every trick in the book. I have updated my BIOS and chipset drivers. Powercfg -requests shows an audio stream running from realtek, I tried overriding it but didn't solve anything. I confirmed every power option setting is correctly enabled. Basically I've spent extensive time googling and troubleshooting this to no avail.
The one thing that did fix it was running the DISM restore commands in CMD Prompt, however, it only works temporarily for the initial reboot after running that command, and then it stops working again if I reboot a 2nd time.
What can I do to fix this problem?

2022-03-08T19:19:55+00:00 That makes good sense AhmetISSIN, I use a gaming computer for my Zoom / Teams workshops because of the great graphic and sound cards... I have cameras, mics, etc., plugged in so same as gaming. Thank you.

i did everything but not solved.
First of all check whether the sleep mode is enabled in your computer. You can do this by going to system and select power and sleep option. Then edit the values accordingly which are under the Sleep section and exit.Restoring the Advanced Power Settingsfor the active Power Plan would also help.
Do Scan for viruses.perform a deep system scan using a third-party antivirus or Windows Defender.
Remove peripheral devices.Usually, a mouse or a keyboard won't cause these kinds of problems. But webcams, printers, or SD readers will.
Disable Hybrid Mode.if you have enabled Hybrid Mode in an older PC there is a high chance that your PC won't go to sleep. Go to the additional power settings in system and select the preferred Power Plan you are using and click Change plan settings. Then click change advanced power settings, then from the three menu expand Sleep, then expand Allow Hybrid sleep and turn it OFF
Also try by Changing Advanced Power Settings -

2022-03-05T20:11:50+00:00 I am having the same issue following my upgrades on 3 computers. Is there a 'glitch in the matrix', i.e. is this becoming a common fault and will Microsoft be sending a fix package please?
