Windows 11 Screensaver / Display Sleep functions not working

yea, a representative from MS ask me to take control of my computer to help me with the issue but after a while, he left without warning, just stopped without letting me know. I waited, waited and waited about 30 minutes and he never completed his thing he was doing, so I eventually cancelled the communication....That is what is sad, these foreigners from where they are from can't even finish a job. MY issue with the screen saver is still not resolved but I won't allow MS to do anything, MS is no good as far as I'm concerned.....

It also works for me with I remove the mouse dongle, but obviously that's not so practical.

I looked at the mouse settings in the device manager and Allow this device to wake the computer was already unchecked, so I searched again in Bing and found the following command:
powercfg -devicequery wake_armed (run as admin)

This showed me 2 USB Root Routers.

I went into the device manager and unchecked Allow this device to wake the computer for both of them and even after a reboot it seems to work.

My laptop now sleeps like a baby

I gave up. Screen saver and power options have not worked since upgrading to Windows 11 a year ago.

Ok. I was the one that found that Stream was keeping my screen saver from working. I came home the other day, shook my mouse to wake up my computer and I had a notice that my computer had restarted due to an update received. I checked and stream was running. Everything was running with the restart. And my screen saver is operating like it should.

Could MS have actually done something? This happened 2 days ago and still going fine.

Although, I still think this is a fluke. Gonna keep an eye on it. Again.

I have the same exact SSD and I tried this firmware update (mine also hadn't been updated since purchase) and it solved the monitor sleep issue for me as well!

However, this did nothing to solve the screensaver issue. The screensaver still will not engage unless I run the DISM commands, and then only continues to work until the next reboot. A curious note about the screensaver issue is it also sometimes works immediately upon reboot but then a few minutes later it stops. Perhaps some application is loading up and interfering with it?

That makes good sense AhmetISSIN, I use a gaming computer for my Zoom / Teams workshops because of the great graphic and sound cards... I have cameras, mics, etc., plugged in so same as gaming. Thank you.
