Windows 11 broke my PC!

DO NOT DOWNLOAD AS OF YET.

it's not ready, I don't know why it was released when there's all these issues! I upgraded and had alot of freezes, slow loading times where as on windows 10 my pc nothing wrong with her until a couple of days in my computer says ''sorry but your PC ran into a problem''. I was never able to fix it, this was a £2K PC!!! it broke my audio drivers for days until the above message killed my PC! NOT HAPPY AT ALL.

if you have an expensive computer DO NOT upgrade unless you want to kill your entire machine.

    Microsoft should pay for ruining my computer with their screwed up "upgrades". I will pursue it until I get some satisfaction. My desktop was only one year old, and I lost all my data, files, etc. I am not the only one, I have talked to many folks who all say the damn "upgrades" are screwing up their computers. My son works for Abbot Labs, he had a recent "upgrade", Probably he same as mine, it was at the same time. The same thing happened to his computer, Fortunately for him Abbot completely rebuilt his computer. I can't afford to do that. I am willing to get together with other folks and see if we can initiate a class action lawsuit against these clowns. They are clearly at fault. My guess id Windows 11 is probably unstable. Either way, Microsoft is responsible for this, something has to be done!

    Ok, let's work out a few things:

    1. Do you remember which version of the "upgrade"? Please specify if yes.
    2. Have you tried searching online if it's a known issue, and if there are any workarounds for the same?

    Also, you're entirely free to complain to Microsoft about this. They could help you in this matter.

    Trying microsoft 11 is like trying koolaid spiked with cyanide. No turning back and even if it doesn't completely kill your computer, it will never function properly again.

    Win11 upgrade worked great - until i made the mistake of rebooting. Then it said 'something happened' to my PIN, and couldn't connect to WIFI so I couldn't login.

    Also noticed I had to hit the power button 3-4 times to even get my laptop to boot.

    Finally I tried rebooting, and after waiting several minutes my PIN magically started working again and was able to connect to WIFI. I thought whatever problem it was had resolved itself ... until the next time I rebooted.

    Now, under Windows 11, here is my new startup sequence for my Lenovo Legion laptop:

    1. hit power button repeatedly until PC boots. If this fails, disconnect power, hold down power for 1 minute, reconnect power and then power on.
    2. wait extended period of time for Windows 11 to boot, and then display the "Something happened and your PIN isn't available...".
    3. Attempt to reset PIN, only to be informed that internet access is required.
    4. Restart (and pray)
    5. At this point, Windows 11 usually boots correctly - my PIN works and I have wifi access.

    I'll go out on a limb here and say this Windows 11 release is not quite ready for widespread release.
