it's not ready, I don't know why it was released when there's all these issues! I upgraded and had alot of freezes, slow loading times where as on windows 10 my pc nothing wrong with her until a couple of days in my computer says ''sorry but your PC ran into a problem''. I was never able to fix it, this was a £2K PC!!! it broke my audio drivers for days until the above message killed my PC! NOT HAPPY AT ALL.
if you have an expensive computer DO NOT upgrade unless you want to kill your entire machine.

In addition to my previous reply; the "problem" you asked about was that I could no longer backup my check register. A backup for any data is very important as you should know. Maybe Windows 11 is unstable. All I know is after the "upgrade" everything went south after I did a restore to a date before the stupid "?upgrade" and my new Dell computer is ruined. I, along with many others, want Microsoft to replace it, they trashed it!

I am puzzled to have you say you never had any problems after one of those damn "upgrades". Every person I talk to about it has the same complaint and you can see many complaints on the internet. I am also surprised that you don't know what a check register is. A check register is what it says it is. Your check book is your check register , I have it and also one on my computer. Great little program. I am not being a wise guy here but I have to ask, are you a minor, don't write checks? Are you really telling me you never had any glitches after some of those genius "upgrades"? If that's true then you are alone in tis world.

I've gone through all the Windows 11 upgrades, there were no issues for me. Also, what is a "check register"? And what "problem" are you exactly referring to, here?
My one year old Dell windows 11 PC was fine until you folks upgraded it. After the upgrade I could no longer backup my check register. It is obviously important to back it up. I did a restore to an earlier date that was before the upgrade. After awhile it said there was a problem and needed to restart. It restarted and it didn't work. It said it was going to automatic repair. That didn't work. It gave me six different menus to try, none worked and my computer was rendered useless. I took it to the Geek Squad, they looked into it and said it would have to be rebuilt and I would lose all my data. It was cheaper for me to purchase a new rebuilt PC. I have done that but I want to know just what the hell Microsoft is going to do about my ruined computer! Knock off the doggone so-called upgrades! Or at least give us the choice to accept them or not. Many times, after the "upgrade", something is wrong. Get rid of the "Genius" who is coming up with this nonsense. Re-build my computer, you ruined it!
It isn't just my computer, My son works for Abbot, he had one of your upgrades" and his computer was ruined too. Abbots had to rebuild it. I am willing to bet this is not the first time you have had complaints like mine.

Not sure if I can revert on the PC that I was referring to. Most of the time I'm working on a new laptop which came with windows 11 so definitely no reversion possible there. So I shall continue to grumble most days.
