Trying microsoft 11 is like trying koolaid spiked with cyanide. No turning back and even if it doesn't completely kill your computer, it will never function properly again.
Windows 11 broke my PC!

it's not ready, I don't know why it was released when there's all these issues! I upgraded and had alot of freezes, slow loading times where as on windows 10 my pc nothing wrong with her until a couple of days in my computer says ''sorry but your PC ran into a problem''. I was never able to fix it, this was a £2K PC!!! it broke my audio drivers for days until the above message killed my PC! NOT HAPPY AT ALL.
if you have an expensive computer DO NOT upgrade unless you want to kill your entire machine.

- Do you remember which version of the "upgrade"? Please specify if yes.
- Have you tried searching online if it's a known issue, and if there are any workarounds for the same?
Also, you're entirely free to complain to Microsoft about this. They could help you in this matter.

2023-02-04T21:36:10+00:00 Microsoft should pay for ruining my computer with their screwed up "upgrades". I will pursue it until I get some satisfaction. My desktop was only one year old, and I lost all my data, files, etc. I am not the only one, I have talked to many folks who all say the damn "upgrades" are screwing up their computers. My son works for Abbot Labs, he had a recent "upgrade", Probably he same as mine, it was at the same time. The same thing happened to his computer, Fortunately for him Abbot completely rebuilt his computer. I can't afford to do that. I am willing to get together with other folks and see if we can initiate a class action lawsuit against these clowns. They are clearly at fault. My guess id Windows 11 is probably unstable. Either way, Microsoft is responsible for this, something has to be done!

2023-02-01T13:21:41+00:00 Glitches were present in my early days of using Windows 11 but were not so significant as to affect my PC usage. And yes, I'm a minor and don't use any check register since I don't need one. I don't know if I'm being lucky in this case, since I've heard several complaints like these.
If the update was the problem, rolling back to the previous version is the right choice, although I'm confused why the system restore didn't work. You can't choose which upgrade you want to install unless it's an optional upgrade. You could pause the Windows updates if you want to.
