Exactly the same happened to me, I hate this new windows it just messed up everything. I'll have to buy a new computer and I lost all my files, I always preferred windows but this is the top. I'm going with apple.

it's not ready, I don't know why it was released when there's all these issues! I upgraded and had alot of freezes, slow loading times where as on windows 10 my pc nothing wrong with her until a couple of days in my computer says ''sorry but your PC ran into a problem''. I was never able to fix it, this was a £2K PC!!! it broke my audio drivers for days until the above message killed my PC! NOT HAPPY AT ALL.
if you have an expensive computer DO NOT upgrade unless you want to kill your entire machine.

I even tried to avoid the "auto download" twice by doing the rollback and now I can't go back. I've tried some of the "fixes" that have been recommended and nothing works. No speakers, no microphone, can't record video. Files have disappeared. What were you thinking MS??? Maybe its just time to switch to MAC

2022-03-12T03:04:37+00:00 Windows 11 did the same thing to my laptop. It is...was, a bit older and it destroyed everything. Nothing is working properly. It went from near instant start up with windows 10 to over 10 minutes with windows 11. Even clicking the mouse is a delayed reaction of nearly 2 minutes. The normal menus and start items don't even show up.
Why would someone release this? All my data is gone. None of my desktop folders are present. Now it has to prepare Windows each time I start it. Exactly who said this was ready for release? What trials were done for this product? How much did you all ignore to hit a deadline? I have not seen this much trouble with a windows edition since the garbage millennium edition 20 years ago.

2022-03-15T14:22:02+00:00 Same here. And to put a big end to it - windows 11 update that was automatically downloaded and installed about 2 days ago completely killed the windows boot. I had to boot into the safe mode, and restore the machine to the last restore point. Then I was able to boot. Unfortunately, yesterday update was auto installed again…. So now I am returning to windows 10. Windows 11 is a half baked piece of software, that should not be released to public yet!

2022-03-08T00:32:50+00:00 I did not even want to DL windows 11 for my home PC, but it happened. On feb 2 i updated to win 11. I almost never shut my PCs down, I just let them sleep. Then on saturday march 5, I shut it down to move it to another room. It now won't reboot and Ive tried everything. It wiped put my registry without a backup. The boot disc does t even work. I have a comp I use for business isimg 11 and if this happens at work I'm ruined.
My comp boots to a blue screen and I have to wipe it clean and reinstall windows. **** man
