I just got a second massive update. Search in explorer returned nothing.
Checked indexing and I found 32000 and "speed affected by user activity"
It never moved.
I clicked advanced and looked at everything and it looks like i'd left it.
When I cancelled I saw "indexing paused"
However the counter is increasing under indexing paused.
It appears the morons have somehow coded indexing backwords where indexing is halted and paused is actually indexing.
One can see that if it is set for indexing at startup the counter will never progress.
If one looks at indexing and kicks it into paused then the counter continues.
So I'm going to trust the counter and not the message.
This has been screwed up in win 10 also. Someone said there's a resume button?
The counter increaseing, the message that says speed affected by user activity and a non-grey pause button should match.
Similary the counter stoppig, the message idexing paused, and a non-grey resume button should match.
i'm not suprised the taskbar is fubar because they've appeared to have put out an OS that will never find anything.
Literally Windows 11 should be called MaGoo...
