Windows 11 Bluetooth no sound/microphone and crashing

My Bluetooth earphones have been working well all the time until I upgraded my laptop to Windows 11. The laptop shows my earphones are connected, but neither sound nor microphone works. The browser and Zoom crash every time I try to use Bluetooth earphones to listen to music or join meetings.

I have tried disconnecting/reconnecting Bluetooth earphones, turning on/off Bluetooth, resetting my earphones, restarting my laptop, and none of these resolves the issues of no sound/mic and crashing. I even bought a new pair of Bluetooth earphones, and it did not work either.

I think this is a bug in Windows 11. Am I the only one facing this issue? What exactly is going on with Windows 11 Bluetooth? And what else can I do now?

    Exactly the same issue here. Microsoft or/and Intel need to find a solution for this quickly as Bluetooth audio devices this days are a must.

    I had an issue with BT hands free working but not stereo audio from the BT headphones. I fixed this by going into the device manager, finding my audio device , in my case realtek audio, then finding by driver. Then remove that driver, right click on something like oem**.inf , uninstall , then restarted windows. Then reinstalled the realtek sound audio. That fixed it.
