Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off

I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

    I have one monitor on Windows 11 and this still occurs. It appears random just using the basic system. If I connect to the system or connect from it to another using Remote Desktop it almost always happens.

    Wild that auto-hide has been plagued by issues like this for over a decade and yep, can confirm, still dealing with this one. And it seemingly has been getting worse recently with it happening every single time I wake the PC rather than just sometimes.

    I'm having the same issue. I want to say it's unbelievable that they still haven't fixed this after three years, but it's Microsoft, so yeah, it's pretty believable.

    I think it might have been polite to explain to us in the first place that they had no intention of making right their outrageous decision to change a perfectly good working technology for this folly, and that we would have to wait for Windows 12! (... I assume, as I've had no news to the contrary). But maybe that would have caused a mass exodus to Apple...
