Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off

I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

I am fascinated by the idea of having to set the PC timeout equal to the display timeout, and wondering whether this might be a solution to my laptop which is a devil to restart if I have to press the off button instead of switching off correctly.... not sure how to do this.

Anyway, again, off topic, but you boutght a Dell. And you didn't buy it from Dell. It would take me the rest of the morning to recount my tale, but suffice it to say that I did a similar thing, and Dell 'Support' was a nightmare, as was the machine. After 7 months, they finally decided to replace the machine, and I paid and extra £300 for what turned out to be a great machine, but the support nightmare continued until the gifted extra warranty at last ran out. My advice to anyone is Don;t Buy Dell ... But if you must buy Dell, don't buy cheap. And don't rely on Dell Support - maybe buy from Currys, or whatever your equivalent is.

As to whether PC equalising timeout to display timeout, any simple instructions or a link to somewhere? I might just try that. Otherwise considering going Mac next time round.
