Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off

I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

    I have this same exact issue, which just started 2-3 weeks ago and it's driving me crazy. Did Microsoft ever explain how to fix this?

    I'm trying the setting to disable the taskbar on all screens and hope that this will fix the issue. On a side note, I have found that if my taskbar is not auto hiding I start windows explorer and then go into Task Manager, find Windows Explorer in apps that are running, right-click and click on Restart to fix it (at least temporarily).

    I can almost see 2024 out my office window, I am fully updated Win 11, and am still having this issue with dual monitors.

    This is the error message I get when the PC wakes up from hibernation. It can also happen when it is woken from sleep mode. The error is random and I have not been able to get it to replicate by force. When this error comes up that is when the hide taskbar option then becomes unchecked in taskbar behaviors. My thought are that windows sees that both taskbars on each monitor are hidden and for some reason, this is not allowed. I never had this issue in Windows 10. I went back and did a clean install of Windowws 11 and all of the updates and yet the problem persists.
