I uninstalled Microsoft Teams, but the problem persists. Teams is not the cause of this issue.

I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

2022-07-22T08:57:39+00:00 Teams has nothing to do with the graphics system. GPU manufacturer doesn't have anything to do with it either as different systems with both AMD and Nvidia GPU's both do it.

Eg. Starting a Zoom call. (I don't even have Teams so that's not the only cause)
How can such a basic bug still be happening after so long....!

2022-08-05T21:39:58+00:00 This issue has affected me before in the past and quietly resolved itself after a few weeks.
Now, as of the past 3 days, the issue is arbitrarily back. The only updates in my update history newer than 2 weeks are definition updates, and I've not installed anything new besides a handful of games via the Xbox app.

2022-08-10T21:25:15+00:00 Yes it helps for people to keep chiming in with the issue because Microsoft hasn't addressed it or even stated what causes it. What doesn't help is people like you, good intentioned or not, popping in with 'well it works for me'. I get that you are trying to be helpful but you did the same thing the Microsoft helpers did, not bother to read the issue. THE TASKBAR AUTO-HIDE BEHAVIOR WILL UNCHECK ITSELF AFTER PC'S GO TO SLEEP OR REBOOT. Auto-hide working for you is cool, but this thread is for the people it doesn't work for. People know the taskbar won't auto hide if there are notifications, that's not the issue people are griping about. Everyone here is looking for a fix for Windows ignoring/changing selected user preferences.
