Update 3/24 - Upon waking the computer both monitors were back to showing the taskbar but no dialog box. Set to auto-hide and did log off and log on. Will see if that helps.
Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off
I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

2022-03-25T16:29:07+00:00 Update 3/25 - Upon waking the comp both were showing the taskbar with the dialog box. Logging off/on didn't help. Set Taskbar to not show on all displays (counterproductive) and auto-hide.

2022-03-28T03:14:19+00:00 Update 3/27 - That didn't last long (approx. 10 hours). At EXACTLY 9:00 pm while the computer was in use, albeit idle at the moment, a tone sounded, the dialog box appeared and it was back to not auto-hide. Set to auto-hide and changed multiple display option to "Main taskbar and taskbar where window is open".
