Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off

I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

    MS CAN SUCK IT!!! EFF WIN 11!!!
    I have issues with that, Phone Link, MS 365... Never, not once, have they responded to my feedback or support requests!
    Staying with Win 10 while waiting till Windows 12...

    After some time now I do believe I understand where the issue lies.
    Windows doesn't know what to do when a monitor plugged in through displayport wakes up, I'm unsure if it's the same with hdmi but mainly DP is the issue.
    Since the power flowing from a sleeping monitor connected through DP cable is so much lower than older vga/dvi, windows completely forgets it exists when it wakes up. Then windows in its infinite wisdom panics when it shows up again, blames you and drops all the balls.

    The "solution" that worked for me was to change a specific setting inside my monitor.
    Setting > Power Button > Standby
    This makes the monitor enter a slightly quicker wake up mode, which continually draws a tiny bit more power, enough so that the pc and windows can still detect it even when everything is off.

    Ultimately this is more of a quickfix than a solution, windows freaking out should not be happening in the first place

    I posted a complaint about 2 years ago on this thread but now it has gotten way worse. I recently upgraded some major parts of my system and was forced to reinstall windows. I had noticed before that the incidents of the taskbar becoming unhidden had picked up some after the last update...now i am sure of it. I have a now top of the line gaming system but each time it comes out of sleep or hibernation, the box is unchecked again almost without fail. Whatever MS did was not an improvement. They have to have a ton of complaints as every system out there these days is most likely usinga dual monitor setup.

    Same problem, both on work laptop and sometimes home PC

    Triple monitor

    1. Samsung G80SD 4K 240hz (DP->USB C)
    2. 2x Viewsonic VG2440 1080p -> HDMI

    On the home PC these are using HDMI 2.1 and DP respectively

    Taskbar decides to turn itself back on seemingly at random
