Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off

I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

    I am also having this issue. I am currently running on Win10 Professional with 3 monitors and the autohide turns off regularly. Very frustrating

    I have an NUC computer running Windows 11 and connected to a monitor via USB-C. With just this single monitor connected I get the behaviour described here when I bring my computer out of hibernation.

    My monitor is able to be connected via HDMI as well as USB-C. When both connections are present, Windows sees my single monitor as two monitors. However I get the behaviour described here even when there is no HDMI connection to the monitor and Windows reports seeing only a single monitor.

    I do known how to turn Auto-Hide on and off. I have to do this every time I start my computer.

    I too have the same problem with the Autohide becoming unchecked.

    But there is another problem. Many times when this happens, the icons on the taskbar and the Start button become unresponsive leaving me no choice but to restart.

    I'm getting really frustrated.

    I experience the same problem. The auto-hide setting is not persistent following a shutdown. I always use auto-hide, and it is always disabled upon startup. Sometimes I operate with only my laptop screen, and sometimes a use a three-monitor setup using a two-monitor USB to HDMI adaptor. The problem presents regardless of whether I have single or multiple monitors.

    Not that it helps, but you're not alone as I have the same problem. I was hoping the recent update was going to fix it and made a point of pushing the update onto my computer. The update's notes seem to indicate the taskbar issue would be, but no luck. I run a single display on DP, so it may not be your dual monitor setup causing the issue.
