Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off

I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

    I think you misunderstood the problem, we don't to turn auto-hide off, we want it to stay on, its turning off by itself in dual monitor mode

    Be kind to 7996 (I'm just a number...) - just noticed that it's his 1st post and clearly looking for kudos in some way... :) However, not reading the question never a good start in any test/exam/problem solving.

    How does this work? Does MS's internal team ever look at these posts? How does it officially get logged as a bug?

    When I started up my PC this morning it again had warning about multiple task bars being opened - and autohide was disabled.. Now becoming a std tidy-up before I start work every day

    -> definitely a massive clue for someone who understand the code base... - if they can be bothered to look!

    You didn't come remotely close to answering the question, It's like you didn't even bother to read what he was saying. I'm having the same issue. The "Automatically Hide The Taskbar" Feature does not stay enabled. We don't need help turning it off. WE KNOW HOW TO DO THAT. We're asking how to KEEP IT ON.
