I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

This problem didn't start for me until I added a 2nd monitor and now I can't make it go away. I've tried command prompt and powershell commands and neither worked plus I keep getting taskbar error messages and I'm on a clean install of W11 pro. I run a W10 enterprise laptop at work and its maxed out on monitors without issue.
At the moment I have 2 computers, and the taskbar problems seem to float around on both of them. At the moment, the upstairs one is holding the hide feature, but chances are I'll have to reset it in the morning. This one downstairs has hidden the taskbar altogether now, and I can't access it without hitting the windows key. So it's either always on or always off. Whatever possessed MS to release this when there were seemingly no plans to put it right? And I notice that no matter how many times I say that, no-one from MS has an answer. Give me back my windows 10!
I have no issue when I set the auto-hide multiple display option to Main taskbar and taskbar where window is open rather than All Taskbars. It is a pain in the **** because you don't have all the tasks there but it seems to eliminate the auto-hide from being turned off.
