Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off

I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

Nope. As you may have read, I have one two-screen setup, which has been working perfectly for months - until the last two days - I hope this is a minor glitch brought about by a greedy epson app. And I have a single computer that won't show the task bar until the win key is pressed.

So no, I think the only solution, Microsoft, is to throw the new plans in the bin and put the taskbar back as it was in win10 - complete with miniatuarised icons, which allowed me to see the bottom of my screen when annoying apps kept the task bar open.

MICROSOFT!! YES, I AM SHOUTING. Some of us just want you to scrap win11 and think again. But most of all, we want someone from Microsoft to tell us, truthfully, why we are not hearing from you, and most of all, when are you going to fix the problem??

Just FYI, I unchecked "show my taskbar on all displays" and it's been two days since I had to manually re-check automatically hide the task bar. So, if you're okay with not seeing the taskbar on the second monitor, this may work for you.

Same issue here, dual monitor setup, every time the computer wakes from sleep the "autohide the taskbar" comes unchecked and I have to manually re-check it. EVERY DAY.

PLEASE FIX THIS MICROSOFT! it's really a pain in the neck.

This is exactly what I get (toolbar already hidden, etc). This has only started within the last week or two. Today is 10/10/22
