Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off

I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

    3 monitor setup.

    Monitor 1 - Nvidia 2080 Displayport

    Monitor 2 - Nvidia 2080 Hdmi

    Monitor 3 - Motherboard Hdmi

    After coming back from sleep, all icons were always moved to monitor 3 and Automatically hide the taskbar was disabled.

    When I turned the setting back on, the icons were moved back to Monitor 1.

    My Nvidia 2080 only has one Hdmi port, but 3 Displayport ports.

    Buying a DP > Hdmi adapter and connecting my Monitor 3 to the Nvidia2080 and the problem is gone.

    Guess: Monitor 3 woke up faster from sleep when connected straight into the motherboard, so everything got drawn on it first.

    But why the setting was changed is still a mystery. One that I don't care much about anymore since I got it solved by connecting all monitors to the same card.

    Worked for me. But for the opposite scenario. I want my taskbar not to autohide. Below settings made it happen. Please note, I had the Automatically hide unchecked for some months now, but the taskbar would not remain on the screen and keeps autohiding. Checking Show flashing option solved it.

    Unchecking "Show flashing on taskbar apps" in the taskbar settings seems to have worked for me. Fingers crossed that it continues to keep the bar hidden!
