So far, so good. Taskbar maintains it's auto-hide status and I am no longer receiving the message regarding some other (unknown) taskbar. So far, no glitches/bugs detected the preview of the update
Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off
I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

2024-07-06T16:37:02+00:00 You have to join the Release Preview channel to receive 24H2. Beta is still on 23H2 and DEV and Canary are ahead in 24H2. If you join RP and wait about 5 minutes then hit the WU check for updates button you should receive it. You can also get the ISO from the Insiders website. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windowsinsiderpreviewiso

2024-07-06T16:14:24+00:00 24H2 is not available unless one is a member of the Insider Program. I joined and downloaded/Installed it per the tech support suggestion. My system "about" still shows 23H2. Maybe that is due to this being just an Insider download?
