Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off

I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

It was mostly working for the past week, until a patch came in a day or two ago, now it's back to being a problem for me. Already had to restart windows explorer once and often the second monitor taskbar is unresponsive, hitting the windows key does bring up the main monitor taskbar.

Never had this problem with Windows 10.

I have the same problem and is not about such a simple and obvious solution. Every after a while (unlimited times per day) I m sick to control-alt-del and run explorer for the taskbar to appear again

Extremely annoying and have not found any solution as this is a bug. It is not about configuration

    Thank you

Same problem as everyone else. Auto hide is deactivated after a shutdown or computer goes to sleep. Have a dual monitor setup as well.

now, I didn't find a solution but Google did lead me here. I have the exact opposite problem right now. (Only started today)

I used to keep my taskbar hidden but because I need to access it through teamviewer using a macbook, I've decided it is easier to unhide the taskbar while I'm away from home (instead of learning the windows key on a Mac).

Thing is, a little while after unchecking the box, explorer seems to "refresh" and my taskbar hides itself again. Looking at taskbar behaviors and I see the option checked by itself again.

A quick check in event viewer yields the following errors.

Personally it's still bearable whether the taskbar hides itself or not, but now I'm kinda worried there's a bigger issue looming.

Update 3/27 - That didn't last long (approx. 10 hours). At EXACTLY 9:00 pm while the computer was in use, albeit idle at the moment, a tone sounded, the dialog box appeared and it was back to not auto-hide. Set to auto-hide and changed multiple display option to "Main taskbar and taskbar where window is open".
