Can't switch out of S mode: "Try that again"
I recently purchased a laptop that came with the S mode of Windows. On the first startup it automatically installed Windows 11 (so downgrading to 10 is not an option). After set up etc. I updated Microsoft Store and installed various Windows updates and tried to switch it out of S mode. Instead, for the past few hours and with each of the hundreds of attempts, I keep getting a window that says "Try that again. Something happened on our end. Waiting a bit might help" along with an error code that changes every time. I am burned out and all out of ideas, any assistance on the matter will be greatly appreciated.

2022-04-21T14:00:54+00:00 I think it is rude from MS that on April 2022 issues are still the same, customers are supposed to get equipment to work immediately, not to wait until some sort of queue is solved. that my friend is rudeness at its best
Here I am reading every forum and trying all methods to get rid of this ridiculous trap. MS with the alleged purpose of protecting customers is hijacking the right to freely use the equipment.. So yes if in 72 hours there is no solution I'll be returning this brick. if there is something I and other customer may hate is wasting precious time dealing with this absurd issues

2022-04-29T13:31:03+00:00 We just bought a new Lenovo for our office and I have been trying for 3 days now to get it out of S mode. All I keep getting is Try again. I restart it, check for updates, looked online everywhere, and tried everything I can. This is SO REDICULOUS. We can't even use it because we can not even download apps that we need to run our firm. Everything says to keep trying it is a server issue, but for how long? You would think that Microsoft would be better at fixing issues quicker. If it is not fixed by end of the day (day4) we will be returning this. So frustrated and terribly disappointed.
