csgo takes +- 20 seconds to start up

since yesterday i upgraded to windows 11. everything was fine and worked good. then i started up csgo, noticed it took so long to start up. like 20 seconds what was in win10 only like 2/3 seconds. i tryed to reinstal csgo. steam or even today did a clean reinstal of windows11. the problem did not go away...

it not a hardware problem.. it is a software problem ( win 11) every games runs perfect exept csgo wel if it runs it runs good. but its soooo slow... pleas help me out. i have tryed everything...

    Can you try the same with the -insecure launch option.

    If I use -insecure in launch option CSGO starts fast like om my Windows 10, BUT it's useless because you can't play on VAC enabled servers :-)

    Thanks for the hint.

    I did test that and here are the game start time results:

    • with default settings: 40 sec.
    • with steam cloud disabled: 38 sec.
    • with -insecure: 20 sec.
    • with -insecure and steam cloud disabled: 15 sec.

    Using -insecure is not an option as you mentioned because you cannot play on official servers.

    for me start up is like 1 min :D , everything works fine, other games starts in decent time ( i think)

    Tried everything already, but without any result

    Got ;
    Asus G15 G512LV
    and windows 11

    Exactly the same for me. New laptop (HP Pavilion for Gaming, RYZEN 5 5600H, RTX3050 Win11) All updates done, 3 games installed and only CS GO launch 50-60s. Already tried everything with settings and reinstalling.. Very anoying.

    On my 7yrs old laptop with Win10 and Intel launched like 10 seconds max.
