csgo takes +- 20 seconds to start up

since yesterday i upgraded to windows 11. everything was fine and worked good. then i started up csgo, noticed it took so long to start up. like 20 seconds what was in win10 only like 2/3 seconds. i tryed to reinstal csgo. steam or even today did a clean reinstal of windows11. the problem did not go away...

it not a hardware problem.. it is a software problem ( win 11) every games runs perfect exept csgo wel if it runs it runs good. but its soooo slow... pleas help me out. i have tryed everything...

    same issue here, windows 11 and 9900k with 2080 ti ftw3

    fresh install, no help, fresh drive, no help, nothing running , nothing opened expect steam, > launch game > 20+ seconds...

    bruh

    the game is badly optimized its lagging and stuttering like crazy ( the only game) ...fps just randomly drop in half then back mid game, causes bad shooting and movements . its basically unplayable.

    Personal report, I am done, just rolled back to windows 10.

    Spent about 1 month trying to use W11 and here is a list of the major step backs I found for my usage:

    Windows initialization W10 = 13 seconds / W11 40 seconds (Same clean install settings)

    CSGO initialization W10 = 5 seconds / W11 25 seconds (same settings)

    CSGO FPS W10 = 600~700 / W11 = 200~300 (Same settings on middle de_mirage)

    CSGO random issues during gameplay or initialization (refresh rate drops / colors faded / random crashes)

    I am not exaggerating, it is literally unplayable for competitive players.

    Ref. Intel Core i9-10850K / RTX2070 / Crucial MX200 SSD

    The worst part of W11 is this Non-Stable felling of the OS, I felt like a beta tester of features.

    For about a month, every update made things even worse/slower and I am not even mentioning other issues among professional software that I use.

    Went back to windows 10 and will wait until things get a little more stable.

    Note to all having this issue. This is related to having CSGO on NVME m.2 and being on windows 11. There is 0 fixes for this till CSGO devs or microsoft patches themselves. I myself have contacted support on steam and they told me they were forwarding the info over to CSGO devs but haven't heard anything since.

    One thing you can do which will be helpful to nobody as it's an offline thing only. But if you launch with -insecure it's instant.
