csgo takes +- 20 seconds to start up

since yesterday i upgraded to windows 11. everything was fine and worked good. then i started up csgo, noticed it took so long to start up. like 20 seconds what was in win10 only like 2/3 seconds. i tryed to reinstal csgo. steam or even today did a clean reinstal of windows11. the problem did not go away...

it not a hardware problem.. it is a software problem ( win 11) every games runs perfect exept csgo wel if it runs it runs good. but its soooo slow... pleas help me out. i have tryed everything...

    Microsoft need to resolvev this.

    Clocked it to 20 seconds untill it shows up on the taskbar. 10 seconds more until it's open and done.

    Clean install of windows 11

    Newest Bios

    My system:

    CPU: 5950x

    SSD: samsung 980 pro

    GPU: 3090

    Memory: 32GB 3666 14-16-16-16

    All watercooled.

    This is just a theory:

    The csgo.exe process is scanning the computer looking for other programs to make sure we're not using any cheating apps.

    When using -insecure does not need to do that and starts faster.

    That scan is faster on Window 10 and slower on Windows 11...

    I wouldn't count on Source 2 alone solving this problem. Why? Because another Source 1 game from Valve I play often - Team Fortress 2 - does not exhibit this problem. If anything, one can hope it coincidentally gets solved when that happens.

    There is no solution for Windows 11.

    -insecure launch option makes it launch fast again but that breaks the game as it disables VAC meaning you can't play most servers anymore.

    Only solution is upgrading to Windows 10. Or waiting an eternity for Valve to release the source 2 version of cs.
