csgo takes +- 20 seconds to start up

since yesterday i upgraded to windows 11. everything was fine and worked good. then i started up csgo, noticed it took so long to start up. like 20 seconds what was in win10 only like 2/3 seconds. i tryed to reinstal csgo. steam or even today did a clean reinstal of windows11. the problem did not go away...

it not a hardware problem.. it is a software problem ( win 11) every games runs perfect exept csgo wel if it runs it runs good. but its soooo slow... pleas help me out. i have tryed everything...

    After CS2 release I'm no longer experiencing this problem, the game takes about 7-8 seconds to boot up for me, also until the menu, skipping intros.

    I'm wondering if the problem you're experiencing is different than the one we all had with CS:GO. Does the game start faster for you with the -insecure launch parameter?

    CS2 has been released and the starting times are about 20 seconds for me now. That's from starting cs2 in the steam browser until I'm in the menu (skipping intro).

    I still have this problem with CS:GO, but I was also able to try the CS2 limited test, and it looks like there's hope - CS2 does not seem to have this issue anymore.

    Hopefully it doesn't come back on full release :)

    I did this 30 min ago and then after I restarted my pc told me I need to set up my PIN and nothing worked till I did a back up from 3 days ago and now everything its ok, so no this did not work and I don't recommend it.
