Windows 11- audio long delay before starting

Hello Ron! Thanks for your comment. My pc one year old too was working awesomely for a year, until this happened. How come, can this be happening, one year later. Ok, I will ask you in one month to see if all goes ok.

Less than one year old Dell laptop had the same issue, nothing would help. I dumped the hard drive this morning and did a clean Windows 11 install. PROBLEM SOLVED! So I believe this proves there is a problem with updating windows 10 to windows 11.

The repair that Dell was going to do on my computer was to give me a new motherboard (and something else, but I can't remember what part that was). To me that translates to a problem with the hardware. Even putting my computer back to the original factory settings didn't help. The subsequent updates just brought the problem back. It is just frustrating that both Dell and Microsoft are taking so long to fix this problem. Yes, it was very good of Dell to send me a new computer, with Windows 11 preloaded. So far, it has been almost two months, and the computer is running perfectly.

I also have used Dell for many, many years and never had an issue. I hope they find the solution soon.

Hello hello Norma, I have a Dell, one-year-old now, and knowing a little bit about these issues, and reading your case, sounds strange it is a problem due to Dell´s hardware communication with Windows at all. I have been using Dell last 12 years.

This issue you have now with Windows 10 as it was with the 11th version makes me assume that there is a major problem with Windows, not the hardware of the computer. Anyways, I am just a consumer.

A change of machine is a good thing; however, this solution sounds as a commercial solution by the book coming from your agent in Dell, more than an accurate technical solution.

I am in Costa Rica, so, I must wait until these guys solve the problem.

I thought by now Microsoft would have worked out this problem. After over 4 months of "tech support" both with Microsoft and Dell and numerous "fixes" they finally reinstalled my computer back to Windows 10 and back to the factory settings. This worked for about 1 month and then the problem returned, most likely from a required update. Dell scheduled me for an in-house repair but due to the lack of parts they agreed to send me a new computer (my computer was only 5 months old when the audio delay started). I suggest you contact the maker of your computer and see what they can do. Clearly there is an issue between the hardware and the Windows software. Good luck!
