After updating to Windows 11 on my 6 month old laptop, my audio files take 20 seconds to start or they do not start at all. This also causes a delay in videos starting whether the file is on my computer or a website. Has anyone else had this issue.

Hello, it looks like it has been solved by Dell with the latest main update (6 days ago) and adding an optional firmware update. This last one must be found apart, in the lower menu, click ADVANCED, and then down in the second menu case that says ADDITIONAL OPTIONS, you will find firmware update.
That´s all, it's been 6 days now with no problems in Windows 11 on my laptop with volume, video, and audio lag/delay.

Hello again Norma, it is not a component issue, if you read last comment from Ron Brown 2, this sounds more logical. Looking forward for more news from him in a month.
I hope this works for you. Dell's last attempt to fix the problem was to returned it to its factory setttings. They reinstalled Windows 10 but after about 1 month the problem returned. I wonder if the issue is a particular Dell computer (or component). I have a XPS 13 9310.
