Windows 11- audio long delay before starting

After updating to Windows 11 on my 6 month old laptop, my audio files take 20 seconds to start or they do not start at all. This also causes a delay in videos starting whether the file is on my computer or a website. Has anyone else had this issue.

    I have the same problem , I struggled ALOT trying to fix it , I tried every thing possible ... and I failed ... tried many driver versions, I have the onboard Realtek on MSI motherboard, it is a driver issue that lets the chip go into sleep or something like power saving mode on a desktop, and im asking WHY?! ... I don't understand why is power saving option enabled on a desktop driver !!! well it seems that they didn't bother to make a desktop version of the driver, this driver is designed for laptops ... man sometimes I really do appreciate how every thing just work well together on mac systems

    I know you are not a Microsoft agent, but I found your previous comments to be very helpful and useful

    I already done all the updates of both windows update and of the dell command update center including the advanced and additional,

    That's why I was asking, to see if was missing something

    You, volunteer moderator Reza, which has abandoned this chat since the first message, a regular Microsoft user is giving feedback to you and everybody:

    Hello, it looks like it has been solved by Dell with the latest main update (6 days ago) and adding an optional firmware update. This last one must be found apart, in the lower menu, click ADVANCED, and then down in the second menu case that says ADDITIONAL OPTIONS, you will find firmware update.

    That´s all, it's been 6 days now with no problems in Windows 11 on my laptop with volume, video, and audio lag/delay.

    Try run Windows Update and download and install all updates.

    Try update Audio and Graphic card driver.

    In case problem persist, open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue.
